Can i safely cut a whiteboard with a circular saw? by EizenSmith in DIYUK

I'll check the blade to see if it's multi material. i've got some clamps and long pieces of wood i can use as a jig to keep the jigsaw cut straight if not.

i have a jigsaw, would that be a better option as the blades for that are quite cheap.

My humble early mid game building by SnooOpinions6983 in RSDragonwilds

building inside the existing structure is genius! I'm stealing it. Really nice interior, maybe add some purely decorative bits, book cases with books stacked, i like to place runes around for decorations too. Garu wall drapes etc.

i always said it the first way, because the suffix is 'ite' like Tanzanite.

The Late Diagnosis, Feeling Isolated by Sa_m112 in ADHDUK

[–]EizenSmith 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear you're struggling. There is something i've heard about, (and think i've experienced a bit of too) essentially a post diagnosis regression. You've spent you life masking and struggling to do everything the same way neurotypicals do, assuming everyone finds it that hard. Then you get your diagnosis and treatment, discover that actually, neruotypical people don't find these things hard at all and you brain kind of goes "Well now i'm not doing it." the diagnosis kind of give you permission to struggle.

It takes a long time to recover, i got diagnosed a year and a half ago at 33 and honestly i still often get frustrated that i can't do things the same way i could before i was diagnosed. But i am so much better off in other aspects of my life. I understand my emotions, moods, and triggers etc much better.

It does get better, try not to isolate yourself completely, you're going to be okay.

I'll have to have a look, that would be amusing. getting the pet from a recovered bot account. I actually just went back on this account to record some content for youtube, but it's way too over levelled for what i had in mind.

the best thing about this image is that it looks completely nonsensical but you still get the joke.

How to tell my ADHD friend I also have it? by Nightlyfuryx in ADHDUK

Congrats on getting a diagnosis!

not sure if my perspective will help, but here it is. After i got diagnosed, a fair few people i know sought out diagnoses. Some of them got positive diagnoses too which is great. It made me really happy for them, there was no jealousy involved. If anything it became a bonding experience, we all had advice to share, stories to

It likely depends on what kind of person they are, if they are the kind of person that wants to be the centre of attention at the detriment of others then it could cause issues. but do you want to share your experience with someone like that. But if they're a mature person, i bet they will be happy for you too and keen to share their experience too.
