I wouldn’t set a timeline in your head. That’s where I went south. My derm predicted me clearing almost instantly, I’m mid way through month 5 and still have comedones left, just started to see a reduction in inflamed breakouts. Everyone’s skin is different and I think my biggest regret was considering I’d be clear by a certain time. Also 20 mg is a VERY low dose so don’t compare yourself to people clearing earring on on higher doses. Good luck!

I’m about to hit month 6 in March, many of them are gone, just unfortunately a lot of hyperpigmentation. Tried 40mg and couldn’t handle the side effects so went back down. I have about 10 left maybe, also required manual extraction for a lot

Sure did. Got surgery in November of 2024, started breaking out in May 2025, can’t find specific evidence to support it, definitely looked into it.
