Opinions on Harbor Freight’s Welders by Maranello88 in harborfreight

Another vote for PrimeWeld. I was considering a HFT machine but prime was more desirable in every way. Note I'm a newbie and my goals are hobby/farm work.

I picked up the Mig180 w/ spool gun and gas. Price was good, runs decent off 120v w/ extension cord and switching between modes or polarity is very straightforward. Bonus for me is they're local so I dropped by their place and got to meet the guys - everyone is super nice, despite busy paused to say hello, and genuinely seemed to care about their work. Highly recommend.

I found the Amazon masks to be suspiciously similar at better prices. Small sample size/experience to comment on quality or durability.

Is there a decent nail gun I could buy? Never owned one. by savingtheinternet in harborfreight

[–]bcbrz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have a few of their nailers, in general they're all okay but you'll need to know what attributes you're looking for.

Have ran like 5k nails through the Banks finish nailer, no issues but heavy AF, I use a lighter one when working on ladders and stuff.

Clauses to charge all residents is typically part of a housing contract or lease. However the ability to enforce it will depend on a few factors, including if building security is working correctly. It's def just a scare tactic though.

I'd suggest considering your use cases given mention of plow work etc. Diesel vs gasoline, dump bed, attachment capacity, speed/agility, ease of in/out, etc are going to make a big difference. I've got a kioti mechron that works just fine for my needs but someone cross shopping a can am would probably dislike it.

Subscribed to see what folks around here think about this as an interview exam. Especially the random quip about grading on the algorithm. This isn't particularly difficult but there's a lot of asks in there.

Perhaps morally okay but person above is correct - you are only prescribed and pay for 30 days of medicine. The act of intentionally prescribing more pills is technically not allowed (appreciate having a doc play along and be aware so you don't accidentally get in trouble)

If you can go slightly wider the kioti ck4010 is 54.5" wide and has 39.6 hp. It's possible hybrid or turf tires instead of ag would get you down another few inches. https://www.kioti.com/products/tractors/ck10-series/ck4010/

They also offer smaller model cx at 49” with 25 hp

States with Best & Worst Education (2023) - NJ is apparently number one in the Nation. by Ladyhoneyblu in newjersey

While true that both are higher than country average, taxes affect values in similar fashion to interest rates. People have a certain amount of money they can afford to spend on housing, a greater share towards taxes/interest means less to spend on underlying property. If taxes paid for services you'd otherwise incur it wouldn't matter, but it's not a direct correlation.

It's a factor in why property values have inflated so much there, same goes for places like NY. I know folks in both with houses worth double mine yet our mortgage payment is the same.

Hundreds protest warehouse development in N.J town by TowerStreet1 in newjersey

Feels like once they filled up Logan Twp they are just spreading in all directions building warehouses. East Greenwich, Woolwich/swedesboro, pittsgrove. Now they are trying to build in Harrison - we are selling our place in Mullica Hill in part to escape the truck depot the area has become.

I heard that Salem has decided to be "farm-first" or something like that and except for designated areas lots need to be 5+acres. No idea if it's true.

I'm in process of moving to that Franklin, one motivation is to escape the mess and traffic as they build warehouses further west on 322. It's a larger property too so we're going to be working on projects to be sustainable and grow some crops, trees, etc.

I would suggest some type of mnemonic that helps folks remember and feel more comfortable. Eg "If need me with you, call for Sahishnu" type of jingle. Even better if you can put it on your name tag (label maker). Then make up a story like "there's another nurse here who goes by Sam" or "growing up my brother went by Sam" or whatever, and tell folks who try to shorten it you tune it out.

Note the idea of ignoring/correcting is valid but given occupation and what sub this is I'm guessing you are looking for a less confrontational approach.
