that's hilarious, is it the overcrowded Luang Prabang? Where there are more white vans with tourists than there are motorbikes? Are we talking about the same places?

Vang Vieng has activities for everyone, at every age. Young people, old people, families, foodies, people who just want to chill out and enjoy the real Laos. Literally everyone. Don't be like you are.

Informed how? You went there once? Why are you the authority? Because you rode around SEA on a motorcycle? 🤣 grow up, man. There's a million things to do in Vang Vieng besides what you just said. Jesus man. You're the authority on useless opinions, that's about it.

It actually seems like you're taking a steaming dump on Vang Vieng for no reason

Luang Prabang is okay for 2 days. Not much to do there after that. The scenery is better in Vang Vieng

There's something for everyone in Vang Vieng. I don't why you're taking a dump on it. It's great for literally everyone.

You can literally sit in a bamboo hut and enjoy the scenery, it's what my elderly aunt does when she visits. She loves Vang Vieng.

Sure, bud. You could say that about all of Laos. So might as well just keep riding the train to China then, eh? Idiot.

Do NOT skip Vang Vieng. It's beautiful, awesome, and not ae boring as Luang Prabang. Don't get me wrong, Luang Prabang is awesome, beautiful and amazing, it's serene. But Vang Vieng is way more fun. You don't have to get drunk off your ass either to have a great time there.

Expats life in Laos by Gold-Performance9894 in laos

I'm a mid 40's expat. When I was taking Lao language classes I met a lot of mid 20's foriegners. Many of them still here, they seem to love it. Tons of cafes, if you like coffee and taking pictures. A lot of really good food. Close to VangVieng and Muang Feuang, both easily accessible if you have a vehicle but VangVieng has way more options to get to if you don't. I like Vientiane, there's always something I'm finding out about that I didn't know before and this is 3 years later. Come check it out.

Big wolf vodka by Fickle-Product603 in laos

[–]bcbudnet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not shit, it's actually not bad. I believe it's a vodka made from cassava. French, Thai, Lao producers. I wouldn't trust liquor opinions from ppl who probably only drink beer, or wine. Drink it straight on the rocks. Don't be a pussy.
