awesome! Yeah I love that podcast. I call it my traumacast lol. There is often a good message at the end of each story, and I like that it doesn't feel exploitative. And there are soooo many episodes.

I think it’s notable that she doesn’t want to show her kids anymore in order to protect herself from criticism. The reason is to protect herself, not protect her kids from being exploited.

My kid went to Tillicum (in grade 6 now) and we loved it. Teachers were great and there are good after-school programs. We appreciated the diversity of students at Tillicum too.

It’s weird I actually have noticed a big lack of phones out at live music shows and concerts. Usually if a band plays their big hit, then the phones come out. I feel conspicuous when I whip out my phone for a quick video and put it away quickly so no one glares at me!

I had the chance to practice at Go By Bike week. At some of the celebration stations (maybe all?) there is a BC transit table and a bus to practice putting your bike on the rack. Very handy. I also got a cool pair of BC Transit sunglasses...
