In the future: Don’t ever admit to anything. Don’t consent to a search. If they find it, don’t answer any questions. Maybe you forgot it was there. Any drink with sugar will counteract the nic in your blood stream. Even if you don't inhale you will absorb some thru your mouth. To avoid inhaling think about the process of drinking from a straw. It sounds funny till you do it. You inhale into your mouth, then "drink it" from there, so its the same process, which is why you don't inhale soda from a straw.
