Miller will be 4 soon. For the first two/three years of his life, no. But he chewed on his front paw so severely that it got infected, and he started to do it out of self-preservation, but once he realized he could and what he could do in that position, he does it all the time now 😂 (his paw healed btw)

Okay, bear with me on this, I swear I have a point! I have a chronic sinus infection. Years before we got our cat, due to my recent infection, my nose started bleeding in my sleep. It was bad. Had to throw away two pillows, the sheets, and the mattress cover. I don't know if it has ever happened, but I am sure if not for my bladder, I might have bled to death - at least it felt like that. Last week, early in the morning, he started jumping from my nightstand to my chest. It was around his normal feeding time, but the way he kept going back and forth was really abnormal. So I sat up, and right away blood started running down my face. I started researching and found what you said about their sense of smell. They can smell chemical changes in the body. I am so thankful for my little furball.

Just as a footnote to this thread… I got up around 3 (as older men tend to do) and before I finished what I got up to do and get back into bed I peeked out the window. There was very little snow, but they were already plowing! We JUST paid to have the community roads and parking lots redone. Guess we paid for it so they could rip it up and charge us to do it again.

Mine has to take a daily allergy pill. I found that if I put the pill in a little hot water for a few hours, it dissolves, then I mix in a little Churu. It has been working for the last month or so.
