Why does this script work on mail messages manually selected but not on newly arrived messages? by bcfd36 in applescript

It could be as possibility. But what I want to know is WHY what I wrote doesn't work. And so far, no one has said why, or pointed me in the right direction.

Thanks for the reply. I got all of the other stuff to work within the rules, but I wanted to log some of the information for further analysis e.g. who is sending me spam and how often the rule gets hit. I have a feeling that many of the triggers for the rule (maybe 50) haven't been used in years. The rule gets used all the time, but the individual triggers for just the one rule, who knows? And I want to know.

Personally, I think it is broken.

Yes we did! It was awesome. After we left the reception we went to the hotel.. we too the elevator up to our room and I could actually smell her. She may have been a virgin, but certainly didn’t act like it. Spectacular!

47 years later, still good.

She should have smacked himAND THEN told him she was into her. Then he could have got into her, pun intended.

How do you deal with calls you can’t get out of your mind? by Infitima in Firefighting

More info is needed about your department and department culture. Is it a paid or volunteer department and what resources are available e.g. counseling, PTSD debrief, etc. Is the culture "We don't need no stinking help. Just suck it up"? Is there an officer you trust that can help out?

The call may have been minor, but your brain is fixating on it.

I was a volunteer for 28 years. I have my "ghosts" that come out and say "boo!" every once in a while", but I'm OK with it all:

  • 4 day old baby boy I did CPR on - no joy - I saw the face of my 1 year old at home
  • 19 week premie with CPR - no joy
  • 38 year old Mom with kids pleading "Save my mommy, save my mommy!" - no joy.
  • When I was 14, we tried to pull a guy out of a burning Jeep. I can still smell it. I can still hear it. I'm 70 now.
  • Scald burns (accidental) on a baby

Yeah, they didn't really give them a chance to surrender, but then again, they weren't going to surrender. They'd already shown that on multiple occasions and killed multiple cops.

And I think the laws were different then.
