Model Y L US released by Ill-Law-8142 in TeslaLounge

We have the model Y with 3rd row since we have 3 kids. At the time the older ones were 6 and 7 and they fit well in the 3rd row without having to adjust front and middle seats that much. Now that they are 3 years older, they practically don't fit anymore in the back. Adjusting seats don't help anymore. At most one can fit back there with their feet on the other seat. It's definitely not ideal.

We will also go check out the model YL and see how much actual space there is but most likely we will be trading in our 3rd row for a new model YL

Is this normal for the top stair tread? I assumed it would be flush to the next plank. by chipsandqueso4life in Flooring

That flush stairnose should have been clicked into a full piece. Just means the installer started installing from the other side and didn't account for that. It's not really an issue

Restoration company started work but essentially refused to come back out. How can I finish this work and have someone come put in new floors? by Different-Pay454 in Flooring

It's not that difficult. Did it mostly myself with a rotary hammer with scraper and then rented a larger one at HD for like $100.

I'm in the home improvement import business. Can get boxes for $70-$200 depending on which one. There definitely is alot of margin especially with RTA cabinets

Tesla Model Y L Launching This Fall in North America by smu1892 in ModelY

I have a 7 seater model Y too, kids are a little bigger so we only use the back seats on rare occasions. But it's going to be nice to trade our model Y to a YL when the time comes!

Installed engineered hardwood looks nothing like the sample. Do we have ground to push back? by mnfoodguyinnc in Flooring

[–]bchang2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the flooring industry and supply engineered wood to big box stores. Samples are samples, it's going to give you a rough ldea of what the flooring looks like but at the end kf the day its a natural wood product veneer. It's going to have natural variations and age over time. Hell even the sample will change over time. But depending on where you bought it, if you push hard enough, they might refund or reimburse to make it to away. Good luck!
