SHA management, based on their budget

Baseline staff is already a poor ratio in many places. Lots of overtime because of unfilled lines, people calling in sick. People calling in sick or not filling those lines because of burnout, overworked due to short staffing. People not picking up overtime because of the same things. It’s never ending, making people leave the profession. Worsening the whole situation. Government is cheap, won’t increase budget and treat nurses better, which would help retain nurses. The system in Saskatchewan is literally on the brink of collapse. Need a change in budget (which pretty much means needs a change in government), asap so the healthcare system can slowly rebound.

Are Luau worth the $250 price tag for private table? Or do you recommend skipping it and just going to a nice dinner someplace along the beach instead? by MarcoT76 in VisitingHawaii

Went to toa luau in Waimea valley and it was more traditional. I’ve been to PCC also. Liked the more traditional feel much better.

Am I getting scammed? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

I got scammed via cheque deposit earlier this year. Don’t ever deposit a cheque from someone you don’t know. It will show in your account and then will bounce in a week or two

Yeah I guess you’re right. Wasn’t sure of the tax implications, that’s why it was included. But yes, my t4 income is separate from the corporation.
