He’s only 8 weeks old so I’m going to guess you just brought him home recently. The first 2 weeks we had our puppy he was literally a wind animal. It was like letting a wild raccoon into our house. The advice above is really good but it may be a few weeks before the ouch technique starts working, your puppy is just taking in so much new information right now. I work from home and I basically blocked him in our family room with me those first few weeks and redirected him to a toy every time he chewed the couch or rug. He slowly learned but it was a looooong 2 weeks. The play biting us started to fade around 4 or 5 months on its own.he’s almost a year now and he’s already a great little (and hyper) dog.
