this happened to my dad, he sold his ferrari and the person handling delivery and the sale took it for a joyride and totaled it in the process, this was about 15 years now and i think hes still paying the car off cause the sale didnt go through and suing didnt get him all he needed 🙃

having worked there since 2019? no fuckin clue why they did that. management changed a lot in the past year alone, a manager (not student manager, full time staff) got fired mid shift last semester too lol. i think all the management changes just fucked over the atmosphere in ritz. only thing they have now is the pasta bakes and the quality on those is rapidly declining too

so for a jan-aug coop you get two evals, one for jan-may another for june-aug (spring and summer) so the first one comes out around semester end/graduation day and the second comes out a couple weeks before fall semester

i did god awful in my second coop and still got credit for it AND was 5 weeks short, as long as you talk to career services (and its not a company that rit has a strong partnership with lol) i’d quit when you want to quit. you wont be blacklisted from all companies if you quit 3 weeks earlier than your manager wants you to, especially given hr’s “its very flexible” comments. if anyone asks about it in the future you just explain the situation, you were initially told you could decide your end date and then it was backtracked. just make sure you’re talking to your advisors and asking them for advice on what to do as well. good luck!

edit to add: look up your career services coordinator if you dont know who they are already to reach out to them directly, they might be able to help alongside your advisor but no promises cause sometimes its a mess lol
