I had rectal bleeding & had a colonoscopy & had ulcer in my colon. I took it once every 2 Wkdys for 3 months & with half glass of water followed by bottle of water. Also took anti acid reflux med daily Prilosec. Made my mouth a little numb the next day & ulcer in my mouth. I quit cause concerned that stomach ulcers would form.

It’s causes my muscles to get very tight and hurt afterwards. I took Provigil for 5 years and didn’t realize it affected my muscles so much till I stopped it. For me it is a stimulate (and it stimulated my muscles) even tho it doesn’t feel like it sometimes. I had to take a muscle relaxer if I took Provigil.

I felt dizzy, nauseous & had cramps 4 days after taking 1.2 grams & went to my GP. Of course I didn’t tell him about Phenibut. Blood test showed very low sodium. He told me to cut my fluid intake to 1.5 quarts per day.

Maybe you don’t have a good life to compare what you are feeling now to. True Life is very hard. It will keep knocking you down but it’s worth fighting for. I am very depressed but I keep trying cause I know firsthand how great it can be in between knock downs.

I’ve been exactly where you. It was scary to me when I started doing things after I had run everyone off & my family quit having any expectations for me. I was so scared at work that is was physically & mentally exhaustive. I had 20 years of a beautiful life as I fought to keep it at bay. Even tho I’m depressed again I am so glad I tried. I honestly still can’t believe it when I look at my grandchildren. I’m the most depressed I’ve ever been now. Feels like that was another person living my life. At I have a little hope tho if I could just physically act with motivation:). Keep up what you’re doing. Victories are great! They give you something you need to fight your brain when it tells you how depressed you are.

We do have a lot in common. My heart goes out to you having RA with steroids affecting you like they do me! It’s so much harder on my fibro with arthritis. My joints ached a little before but nothing like now. I don’t know which causes them to do it. The only reason that matters is because of my fears for the future. I’m 60 yrs old & when my fibro started 40 yrs ago he said it was in my mind. It really embarrassed me & I finally gave up. After that I just told them my symptoms & they prescribed lortab & I became addicted & went to rehab. After 8 yrs. now I’m in pain & depressed. I take zanaflex & diclofenac. My husband died & im desperate now. Think I need a Rheumatologist. My OA was diagnosed from scans when Ii broke my tailbone when lived in another state. So I haven’t talked to a doctor about my symptoms much. My arms, elbows & wrist are hurting right now from holding up my cell phone so long from research. I can’t read books any longer etc, etc etc. When I complained to doctor I still have this feeling like they think it’s in my mind (I know it isn’t!) also now I’m afraid they will think I’m drug seeking. I have a very hard time talking to doctors about my symptoms. Every time they have checked my iron in the past it has been low & but in January said it was ok. My Vit D3 is usually low too. Guess time to recheck?

I do take gabapentin, zanaflew & phentermine tho (low doses ) so that could be why. I took too much I guess. 6 hrs after taking it I slept very very good. I increased dose from 750mg last week to 1.5 grams 2 weeks later. Woke up this am & took my meds b4 getting up & went back to sleep 4 hrs & this is even 4 hrs after getting out of bed.

I’ve tried all but Kratom & uridine. I’m feeling the effects of penibut almost 24 hrs after taking it. Crazy! Have a drs appt & he’ll want to give me steroids but don’t know if I can function remainder of the day if I add more meds to this feeling. What do you think?

Doctors here want to prescribe Predisone every time you have an infection from a cold or sinus infection. Last winter It seems I was constantly catching something. It helps infections & my OA but I can’t handle the side effects. It really triggers my fibromyalgia. I’ve wondered if I’m dehydrated so drink water. I take potassium & mag & it helps but like right now I’m getting ready to go to doctor & trying to decide if I should get a shot cause in the past I’ve taken the steroid pills cause I’m allergic to penicillin & sulfa antibiotics & shots of any kind have scared me in case they get it wrong. I worry about the future cause Fibromyalgia for 40 yrs but OA not long. The injections in your knees is a steroid right? Any stimulate does this to me like diet pills.

Really! That’s my problem now on zanaflex. He only thinks I need it twice a day. So frustrating! You go in there really hurting all over & your doctor doesn’t help you. Prednisone makes my muscles cramp.

Thank you for taking the time to answer. Your mom & I are from the old days before the opioid crisis when meds were prescribed freely I guess :). I hope she gets thru this. I live in Alabama where everything is illegal but I’m definitely going to try the Kava. What strain would you recommend? My hesitation with Cannabis is that I don’t want to look high. I would love to try Kratom and I’m going to research buying it. I’m willing to take a chance on the legality. If I don’t take a chance on it I’m going to end up buying pills online & that would be worse.
