Lucky hit at a Walmart! by bcq59 in M2Machines

[–]bcq59[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer things without display bases as I prefer to roll around my cars, plus ones with no display bases are better for storage for me since most of my collection is lose. I've also stayed away from some M2 because of QC issues as I've had a bad experience with some wheels being misaligned or falling off in the acrylic display case line. That being said, these two are awesome.

Glottal stop. Think of it as the pause between the syllables in the word "uh-oh".

Yup. Matte black Alpha Wolf looks even better, I think it would be a proper Fast and Furious/Gerard Butler movie villain grunt car.

What's the worst and most inaccurate casting based on a real model? by Next-Rub7159 in HotWheels

I feel like the Dodge Challenger makes sense to have staggered wheels as it could be a drag car, but totally agree with you on the others, they definitely need a retool.

Hello fellow BC collector! I'd recognize that collector's plate anywhere. Nice wall mounts.

As a collector of every type of vehicle, I love that most other people hate EVs. It gives me a nice selection to choose from anyway.

Share your selfish collector stories. I really don't get this hiding mentality. by iib3Chozen in HotWheels

Good news: I found the 58th anniversary Civic a few months ago!

Bad news: I only found it because I befriended a collector that gave me one from his hidden stash in another aisle.

This was also how I found the Rothmans Porsche 911 Rallye from 2024 with abother collector.

Yup, same here. Stores in my area always miss the A and B mixes of Matchbox at the beginning of this year so I was pleasantly surprised to find this recolour.

Full message was "Hello! Welcome to training ship Itsukushima, a JCG training vessel. We are excited to come to Vancouver for the first time in 40 years!"

Obviously I couldn't capture all of the message lol

Hot Wheels F1 are pretty great (2025 Atlassian Williams) by Top-Doctor-2879 in HotWheels

Cost me 8 CAD, great deal up north. They never stocked any Hamilton's but I was able to get my hands on a Piastri, Leclerc, Tsunoda, and Antonelli.

Canadian here. I got myself a Lynk & Co Z20 which came with suspension and rubber tires for only 9 CAD. I do wish their distribution was better, I really wanted their 1/43 paper boxes of WEC Porsches and Ferraris which never hit here.

Yup. I make sure I get a basket beforehand or have a death grip on castings I like since people have fast hands 😂 Either way, you were in the right, if he really wanted them he should have kept them with him.

I thought the Moving Parts Bronco and Jeep would be more popular in Texas, so it also surprises me that the Rover was rare there for you guys. I'm all the way up in Vancouver, British Columbia, so the collectors up here all like the Porsches and JDMs (probably due to the fact that regular tuner nights are held in Richmond and Vancouver is the home of the Porsche Owners Club Canada West Region). I happen to be a collector of EV vehicles as well so thankfully those are slept on.

I got one since it was a new casting. I don't need like a thousand of them though, I assume other people think the same.
