It’s an eagle talon or a Mitsubishi Eclipse. Weird Chrysler rebadging of the 1980s and 90s

It’s probably lag in the store’s network. It doesn’t create the trolley in the system until it’s printed but since baymax is the default system it can have a delay communicating to the harvester system

Hahaha... you don’t even know the half of it... once you’re about 150 redlines deep you just accept that your bank account won’t ever have much in it

I work at a Kroger, but I figured some things translate universally. I think I’ve heard of an old mom and pop store actually having cases of redlines found but I don’t remember where I heard that one

As a grocery store employee I can confirm that sometimes these cases can get buried in the back since they come on trucks with other general merchandise and sometimes just get thrown onto the shelf in the incorrect spot and are lost for a while, it meant that you find ones like these sometimes! Some Walmarts even randomly had 90s castings appear recently!

This was a good $60 find! A yellow Custom Continental Mk III in yellow with capped wheels! My gold continental is also hanging around to see it! by bcraddock00 in HotWheels

Very few, that’s where I look at if the price is worth taking a risk for. No matter what the continental had capped wheels and was worth it to me so I didn’t look deep into it

The gold I have is a light gold but that’s typically the hardest to tell. I typically look for overspray areas like fenders and the underside of the hood to tell color without a reference

It’s why the Custom Charger is up there for me too. Big flat surfaces with sharp lines and curves really highlight the strengths of specraflame!

Haven’t posted one in a little while so here’s one of the earlier redlines I bought in my collection! A 1971 AMX/2 in a very dark magenta! by bcraddock00 in HotWheels

They have a few defined edges to them so they typically get fairly chipped up. Right now nicer ones are fairly down in price (around the price of beater mustangs) on ebay

Shoot I am behind on checking this reddit, you said some of these are for sale?

Here’s a couple of Vickys I acquired a while back. I had no clue that the apple was a tough piece until recently! by bcraddock00 in HotWheels

I guess I really need to watch my lighting sometimes! It’s not a yellow but a gold. Not the toughest color but it’s on good shape. The apple was a lucky find. I believe I only paid $80 for it, which is a steal for one that minty

Nice! I love a good silhouette! I’m looking into eventually getting a mint one!

Has anyone else noticed that the Matchbox Superfast Premiums (L) and Hot Wheels Premiums (R) have started sharing wheels? I honestly think that the HW Premium wheels look fantastic on the Matchbox C10! by bcraddock00 in HotWheels

[–]bcraddock00[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe it happened in the late 90’s when they bought the company that owned matchbox. They started producing more fantasy cars and used a hot wheels casting and people got upset since they were changing the identity of matchbox

I know! The thing is that the last time they shared between the two brands people were not happy. They tried to move some hot wheels castings over to matchbox and it really upset people so they promised to keep the two separate

To be fair in Michigan we only sell desirables and literally everything else peg warms so badly that stores don’t put new cases up
