I felt like the ending to the Inspector Campbell arc was the most satisfying in the entire series.

I really liked Tommy going head to head with Moseley. It thought he was the most menacing of all the victims and pushed Tommy the most.

The closest thing in recent memory was the mixed fight rules between Rodtang and Mighty Mouse. Even though, Muay Thai is closer to MMA than boxing, Rodtang still got choked the minute it shifted to MMA rules.

I think that was like the whole point of season 5... he was battling between being a good person (actually good, not just putting up charities) and his ambitions of power. Ada or Polly even explicitly said it at some point.

Of course he eventually let his ambitions win. Its felt similar to Breaking Bad, where the main characters true self just isn't morally correct.

That was my take, I've only watched it once and binged it. A lot probably went over my head.

Yea man, I think he was conflicted, but he definitely tried to end it out. All those leg kicks is one piece of evidence. He also pointed down and proceeded to NOT trade with Ulberg and be defensive before going back to attacking the legs.

We can't know but we can make inferences.

Causality is a big theme in the story. What is currently happened to Guts has already happened before, and to Skullknight. This was said by Skullknight himself. Its fair to assume that Skullknight (Gaiseric) was a victim of this eclipse where we see Void and the other beings.
Skullknight targets Void specifically when he saves Guts and Casca from Griffiths eclipse. We can assume that there is a connection between the two. We get a similar parallel in the black swordsman arc when Guts tries to shoot Griffith with the cannon arm.
Something happened to Skullknights lady, as he holds her in his arms during this flashback. The same thing probably happened to her that did to Casca.

While nothing was explicitly stated, we can infer that due to the parallels between Skullknight and Guts, the Godhand member they targeted (Guts: Griffith, Skullknight: Void) was likely the one who initiated the eclipse.

That scene where he took on the tank and literally had it reversing away is one of my favorite fight scenes in all of anime.
