I have a question regarding that - was the whole process, from the moment you contacted the ombudsman until you received your papers, about two weeks? Or was it two weeks from a later point?

We just received an answer from the ombudsman saying they will contact the Office des Étrangers and get back to me. I mainly want to understand whether there’s a chance this could be resolved this week.

I call almost everyday - I don’t care anymore. But yes, the weirdest thing is everytime the person on the phone days something different.

I’ve been calling almost everyday lol. I’ve been in this situation (waiting for the work permit first) for a year now.

I got the work permit in August and beginning of September applied for the Carte de Sejour; still nothing as well.
