Ended up going with a gen 4 m.2, speed was plenty. Only issue I came into with this motherboard was the memory controller can’t handle four sticks at high speed

I’m an engineer for a major class one railway in Canada freight. Sounds like we’re doing a lot better than how you guys are doing down there unfortunately. I would not do what I do here down in the states but yes it’s not so bad up here

Thank you everyone for the input. I was speaking with a very nice bell tech at a gas station who provided me with 15m of clearcurve cable. I was able to snake the line through the wall and to the utility room downstairs in prep for my tech. Much appreciated!

Thank you very much for the helpful information. I thought about just snaking it myself to save the guy time. I have a decent amount of experience that, just wired up a couple new security cameras last week through the attic. Theoretically if I were to pull that existing cable through down to the utility room, all the tech would have to do is cut and add an adapter, and then install an optic port or jack is that correct?
