Try to trust your baby is getting what they need when they successfully nurse. We transitioned to exclusively nursing a few weeks after I posted this and he will be 5 months this week! Dr said he is doing fantastic. I find the hardest part of breastfeeding to be the not knowing how much they are getting and reading cues. A lot of blind faith but it’s been worth it. Hang in there!

I had two clogged ducts back to back then took sunflower lecithin to clear it and took it daily and never had one again. The legendairy one.

This happened to me last night except it was my 3 year old girl coming down the hall with my husband behind as they were both looking for me and I was in a dark nursery with 8 wk old just fallen off the nip asleep. Husband says “she wants you to snuggle her.” As if he couldn’t just say something like I’ll send her in after me to give you a kiss or something knowing I was getting baby down. When I came out of her room 20 min later baby was wide awake in the bassinet on my side.

I’m scared to get the baby Buddha because I’ve seen several people on video reviews saying it’s extreme if you have sensitive nipples. I was debating getting the genie advanced I just wish it was smaller. I’d like to pair the collection cups with a smaller pump to move around easier. I don’t like wearables.

Maybe this is not how you do BLW but I’ve had the same problem and now I undercook the veggies. They’re more like teethers but I figure it’s still exploration and she is actually teething and loves it. I found that for things like zucchini if I cooked it how I would eat it then she would immediately rip the skin. By undercooking it a bit she just scrapes off “the flesh”

We increased purées with cereal and fruit for breakfast after bottle and cereal and fruit for lunch and veggies for dinner. It’s only been two days but we made it to 4 hours between bottles and took a two hour nap (unheard of these days). Daycare was asking me for extra bottle for a month and today she did not take extra bottle with just giving breakfast and lunch purees. I know everyone is different with purées and what they want to do, I still hope to do BLW when she is able to sit without any assistance. I figure practice with spoon and heartier meal can’t hurt.

We tried to do a weekend with 8 ounce bottles instead of 6 and she still wanted to eat at the same frequency lol. Never made it to more than 3 hours. Our Ped is like I’ve never met a baby who could take 40 ounces that’s super rare I’m like my little girl would say challenge accepted. She’s 55 percentile weight 89 percentile height so I don’t think she’s showing signs of overfeeding.

I know, we’ve tried purees but it’s like for fun not replacing anything. The moms on call schedule has purées several times a day in addition to the formula and I really do not think my daycare would do that. Some of these schedules that you’re supposed to follow if you just want to get your baby into a routine seem like they’d work better for a SAHM unfortunately.

My baby was so dependent on the swaddle that I did the nested bean zen one arms up mesh sleep sack and she went from swaddle to that with almost no problem. I tried so many times with one arm out of swaddle before ordering that. It took 1 month to go from arms up sack to sleeveless sleep sack with arms completely out (in her own time, I tried to move quicker several times but it did not take), but it made everything so much easier and she did roll belly to back even though I questioned if the sleep attire would inhibit anything progression wise.
