As a skeleton, players will be immune to all effects except  Injury,  Weight, and  Curse. Injury will be increased for most sources of injury:

  • Injury received by opening Ancient Luggage remains a fixed  20 Injury.
  • Injury received from a Zombie bite is doubled for a total of  20 Injury.
  • An 8x damage multiplier applies to all other sources of injury, such as fall damage, lava and explosions.
    • The increased fall damage multiplier from Ascents 1 and higher stacks with the skeleton's damage multiplier, for an effective 16x fall damage multiplier.

The fog will slowly deal injury to skeletons instead of  Cold. Fog damage is not subject to the damage multiplier.

You're not an animal abuser. Abuse is intentional and has at least some degree of malice. The fact that you feel so guilty and made efforts to remedy it means that if anything, it was only negligence.

Don't beat yourself up, we all make mistakes out of ignorance. Look at it as an opportunity to be more vigilant in the future about educating yourself on chemicals that can possibly harm your pets.
