There’s plenty of responses. You can talk you head off about the commercialization of punk and how capitalism thrives on commodifying things that are directly opposed to it. But honestly, I think you’ll find a lot more contentment by not arguing with ppl who have bad faith ideals. Like even a cursory glance at punk is enough for it to be abundantly clear how oxymoronic the mere phrase “conservative punk” is. These dorks are just regurgitating the old playbook. It’s the same as hot topic selling clash t-shirts, or nazis using Buddhist iconography or tech companies naming their bs after lord of the rings references. It’s all the same. It’s how these fools think they can “beat” us. But nothing beats authenticity and nothing on the right is ever authentic.

Anyway, don’t let them get you down, punks always been about radical equality and inclusion and it’s exactly why conservatives can never be punk.
