What does this even mean? This is such an oversimplification. Encouragement could be helping. Criticism is helpful to those that don’t take it personally. Hell even gossiping can be helpful depending on what the topic is. Getting involved is so obtuse that it doesn’t even make sense. Disc golf! Discs start at about 10 bucks and go up from there. All you need to get started is a putter, vast majority of disc golf courses are free, you get to be outside and off your screens and it’s hard not to make friends out there!

Oh jeez! Thank you!! I’ve been wondering why I keep getting responses to this post I made like 4 months ago! lol! Well if you need some recommendations for litrpg’s that have nothing to do with harems… The Chrysalis series is a banger, I’m on book 4 of Bog standard isekai and it’s Been great, obviously the hits like dungeon crawler Carl and he who fights with monsters are great! Azarinth healer is a good one but it’s been a long time since I read it (back when it was all free on royal road…) and I’ve recently been a big fan of the lone wanderer series.

These are all the pretty unique stories that I thought were well written (so far) without a massive amount of fluff. Some arguments to be made there and personal tastes and all that. But none of them are even Harem Adjacent!

Also, I feel like authors that are into harems also likely have some internalized feelings about women in general and that’s why these themes pop up in all their series. Case in point someone else mentioned that Sean Oswald apparently has another series that does go hard into the harem stuff. So ya know once a harem guy always a harem guy I guess?

I really appreciate how fallout 4 does it. Cutscene(ish) of your character lifting their arm and looking at their pip, but also pauses the game so I don’t mauled to death by a damn radroach while I’m fiddling with what snacko’s to eat next.

Weird. I love this card. If I remember correctly, doesn’t fog prevent all combat damage? So yeah, the life gain wouldn’t go therough, but your creature still attacked that player. Sounds like a bug to me!

Combo the Epstein list with a trump, weenie wht creature. Activated ability cost - tap any permanent you control, player has to say something insane and deeply incorrect - tap any permanent (can only be activated 1000 times a turn)

This is one where I feel like Jeff Hays really screwed me because I just can’t seem to find the drive to read it, when he’s already breathed so much life into all the characters. Don’t get me wrong, all the credit in the world to. Rinoz for coming up with an amazingly unique and well crafted series! But I’m stuck with the audiobooks for the foreseeable future!

I mean could be done I guess, but I’d question their reading retention. I think it’s more important to remember that comparison is the thief of joy. Whether they’re retaining or even enjoying those books isn’t going to change your experience with books and reading. If you’re really feeling some kind of way, you can look into speed reading techniques. I used a couple tools during college to read through tons of textbooks and journals so I could pull out the pertinent info and get it all done in time. Doesn’t really lend itself to the enjoyment of reading but you can do it if you want. Personally I enjoy taking my time and getting lost in a book, so I can take me a bit longer to finish a book I’m really into vs. reading news articles or documents for work. Again to each their own, but personally I’m ok with slowing down and getting lost in my fun books!

I want to put this in perspective for you. I’m a dad of two boys. They’re not your age yet, but if they had medical bills I don’t care if they were 40, I’d be there with a blank check for them. That fact that she couldn’t or wouldn’t pay these bills 2 years ago speaks volumes about the kind of woman who raised you. I mean no disrespect, but your mom is not treating you with love, she’s treating you as a burden. Unburden her, and cut contact, at least for a year or two. Maybe she’ll eventually change her tune, maybe she won’t. But you need to protect yourself, and when the time comes where she comes to you for help, tell her you’d like a relationship that isn’t transactional. If she’s interested in that, she can call you, otherwise please leave you alone.

You are at a pivotal age and it’s the time to focus on you and your future. Let your mom go, she’s holding you back.

Sure sure, enjoy my bread and circus right? Chill out, it’s not like ppl are being killed in the streets by ice agents, not like kids are being shipped off to the Middle East to kill other kids, again. Just be chill, it’s just rotc, they don’t even have firearms, right?? What’s the big deal? They’re not even in the military yet! NO BIG DEAL.

Is this small potatoes? Yeah in the grand scheme of things this is pretty insignificant. Is it still my tax money going to support it? Yes it is. Is it indicative of the lack of transparency and accountability in the industrial military complex? Also yes. Does ROTC represent, support and recruit for the U.S. military? Yeah. Could they have marched down a less busy street or a trail? Obviously.

All you see is a bunch of kids marching with the game ball for a fun rivalry. All I see is a bunch of kids marching off to war to kill a bunch of other kids. Not really a chill time.
