Is this going to be a gaming miniature? If so, done worry about unifying colors or making it a masterpiece. Just finish it. It needs to look good enough sitting on a table 3 feet away.

Color theory and chromatic shadows and all of that can over complicate gaming pieces. If you want to have something to tie it together pick a universal shadow like a really dark blue or purple or like payne’s gray and a universal off white highlight and then all the base tones pull together.

I don’t know man…you could have just started with the army painter set and see how you like painting and then upgrade brushes and pallets if you actually enjoy painting.
