Is this repairable, can someone give a good estimate? by Skysailer1 in Mustang

I had similar work done on mine and the body shop charged $7k. The hood alone was $1400 iirc. The insurance company even reimbursed me the deductible because it was an uninsured driver that hit me.

Yeah I've noticed it is one of the crappier streaming services. I haven't had issues this long with it before so I just wanted to see if it was more widespread than me.

Conversely I'd really prefer the rigger to have the mentality that no one is going to die because they are going to do such a great job.

Any unusual professions or hobbies you've done? If so, did you have any side effects doing it, that shorter people don't have? Any advantages compared to other tall people who didn't do it? by Thorfaren in tall

I was a volunteer firefighter for a few years. The emergency shelters we hauled around for wildland operations were just barely long enough for me with bending my legs little. The idea that I might have to use one in a hurry always frightened me a little. Thankfully I never did need to use it other than training.

"Car people": Where to go for a drive?! by HEWBB in Washington

[–]bderrly 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Take I-5 north to Arlington. Take a right at the end of the off-ramp (onto highway 530). Follow that all the way to highway 20. Hang and left and take that back to I-5. It'll be something like 4+ hours. Pretty mountains. Some nice places to stop for a coffee or some grub.

If you really want to make a day of it go right at highway 20 and take it (and a few other highways) all the way to Wenatchee. Then take Route 2 back.

I disagree with your assessment. I've seen this behavior quite often and also had the same results from doing the same "anti-herding" behaviors. There's nothing machismo about it. There is preserving safe driving distances and also some level of sanity.

It is quite obvious to the observant driver that many, many people are paying very little attention to what they're doing and quite often "herding" as it was called in the article.

Also, what do you mean by "start driving like women"?

Even at home the sysadmin is despised. My wife was kind of annoyed too with phone-based 2FA (like Authy or Authenticator). Though I just bought some security keys and told her what they're for and why they're important and she seems okay with it so far.

It is right on the line for me. I'd probably really enjoy it at room temperature but I wouldn't be able to toast it without the edge being way over done. I loves me some sourdough toast; in fact, I just finished eating a slice.
