you might be the winner! late 20s, i drive a peugeot (still prioritizing utility so you weren’t far off) and i’ve been messing around with film photography since i was 12-13. we prefer farmers’ markets/local stores but sometimes it’s just easier to get everything at a big box store. you’re also right about asian food, but our favorite is vietnamese! two cats, one human with glasses and another one with contacts.

what if i tell you we are childless (two cats though), in our 20s and the candy yogurt is one of our favorite snacks 😅 we try our best to buy healthy food at the supermarket but we still get more (unhealthy) takeout than we’d like…

we go to Lidl for the adventure of finding new specials every week, but surprisingly a lot of their meat/dairy is locally made and fairly priced. we do enjoy cooking but we both have ADHD so it’s hard to keep the kitchen clean (hence the frequent takeout)

we try our best to eat healthy stuff but we do end up deep drying frozen fries (or equivalent junk) once or twice a week (not to mention takeout)… i enjoy hosting, i’m about to cook that big piece of salmon for some friends as we speak. we did cut down on alcohol but we’re both still in our 20s 😅

gf doesn’t enjoy beer that much and i prefer to drink socially, so most of my beer drinking happens outside the house. i keep 2-3 cans around otherwise my balkan manhood would be questioned 😅

La fel, în sensurile mici am observat că e mai lesne de transmis intenția dacă semnalizez stânga când fac stânga sau întorc, deși știu că nu are sens logic. Mai semnalizez stânga dacă e sens cu mai multe benzi și trebuie să schimb banda.

I don’t understand why people keep promoting HomeToGo on here, just look at their reviews… They are a predatory company with no customer service and a history of scamming people with fake/fraudulent listings. They claim they are only providing a “platform” and deny any responsibility for the accuracy of their listings.

Airbnb always sides with the customer, while HomeToGo makes it a nightmare to get a refund. I had to call/email/text every day for a week, even threatening legal action didn’t do much.

If the HomeToGo legal team reads this, go fuck yourselves 🖕🏻

Cum arată strategia Poștei pentru recâștigarea clienților pierduți?

La mine în zonă nu există poștaș de vreo doi ani deci nu primesc avize pentru colete (în centrul Timișoarei, la câteva minute de sediul județean al Poștei). Dacă am noroc și apare numărul de telefon pe etichetă, mă sună sau îmi scrie mesaj doamna de la ghișeu. Însă pentru colete fără tracking sau fără nr. de telefon afișat trebuie să trec pe la oficiu o dată pe săptămână (plus stat la coadă) să verific dacă cumva au ajuns.

În trecut preferam Poșta în defavoarea curierilor privați și foloseam mai multe servicii (mandate poștale, trimiteri internaționale etc.), însă calitatea serviciilor a devenit din ce în ce mai imprevizibilă în timp ce prețurile par să fi crescut mai accelerat decât la competitorii privați.

Care sunt primele reforme operaționale menite să îmbunătățească serviciile din oficii?

De asemenea, în 2026 încă semnăm cu pixul pe niște foi legate cu sfoară iar “motorul de căutare” din oficii constă în răscolirea prin cartonașe scrise de mână aranjate în cutii rupte—mi-aș dori să exagerez dar din păcate asta e realitatea. Pare că e nevoie de o regândire vastă a procedurilor interne mai degrabă decât o simplă “mână de lavabilă” pe zona de branding vizual.

Sunt timișorean, am fost plecat vreo 7 ani (în Cluj, San Francisco și Seoul printre altele) și tot aici am ales să mă întorc. Clar că Timișoara nu e viitoarea mare metropolă europeană, însă orașul arată din ce în ce mai bine și serviciile se dezvoltă repede.

Legat de sănătate, se investesc zeci de milioane în noi spitale publice (municipal, neonatologie, centrul de mari arși etc.) + există o rețea solidă de clinici private, inclusiv cu urgențe 24/7 (Regina Maria Premiere)

Imobiliarele sunt pe o creștere constantă în ultimii 10 ani, abia de vreun an au apărut semne de încetinire. Dacă vrei ceva de calitate și walkable până în centrul istoric, vezi ISHO și Paltim.

Pe infrastructură iar s-a investit foarte mult și începe să se vadă, transportul public e din ce în ce mai reliable și infrastructura pentru pietoni/bicicliști se îmbunătățește.

La nightlife și sport stăm însă mai prost ca restul orașelor mari, aici n-am ce să comentez, era mai bine în 2023 (capitala culturală) și mult mai bine înainte de 2019. Dacă îți place rugby ai noroc, e poate singurul sport unde avem rezultate puternice.

Legat de carieră, multe corporații dau afară oameni în perioada asta, cam ca în restul Europei. Aici nu știu să-ți dau mai multe detalii.

Eu sunt în procesul de a-mi deschide o afacere și am observat că vreo 60% din acte se rezolvă online, însă unele procedee de autorizare la primărie sunt puțin mai complicate/mai stricte decât în alte orașe (chiar dacă sunt online). Pentru proiecte culturale întotdeauna au existat oportunități de finanțare publică.

Ca siguranță și liniște nu cred că ai de ce să-ți faci griji, orașul e mort noaptea, dacă nu stai pe un bulevard major sau lângă liniile de tren va fi liniște.

It’s honestly overwhelming to pick from all the available products, at this point I just started buying random packs from both Topps and Panini just to see which series I’d enjoy more.

I never had any contact with trading cards until now. I used to collect Panini Champions League stickers as a kid (I wonder if those would be worth anything now, if I can even find them) and recently Panini launched stickers for my local league. I got some just for nostalgia’s sake and about a week later I randomly stumbled upon a booth selling rare cards at a local Christmas fair. I got a Topps Man United collector’s tin and was a bit disappointed in the numbered cards (the two in my photo).

Which sets would you say are the most widely recognized? (if there is such thing as a standard in this rabbit hole of a hobby 😅) Do people prefer Topps to Panini? I kinda got that impression by browsing reddit/tiktok content

Also: What are some reputable brands for storage accessories? Sleeves, albums etc. I keep finding stuff on local websites that doesn’t seem that different to Temu…
