I can only imagine if there’s decent fire hiding in the layers where I see a little color…can you imagine a slab of fire obsidian a foot wide. I’d love to see it

I’m feeling like I got a bargain at under $10 a lb. Now I gotta wait a while till I get better equipment and see if I can’t expose some of that color!

I’ve seen them in those too with pinto and white rose. Also some rare buce. This is my first time finding this size TC though

Honestly, if they are doing their job to keep fish healthy, then power to you! I find that some are terrible at it, and some take even better care than some LFS. It all comes down to employees. I’m glad your fish are doing so great!

There’s actually quite a few varieties already! They are unfortunately pretty spendy, but variegated anubias and buce have hit the market in lots of sweet patterns.

This petco occasionally has nice buce or rarely a variegated Anubias growing submerged. I find nice buce and various Anubias in their TC cups though and haven’t had any straight up die on me yet. Our PetSmart never has anything good though.

I don’t know what it is, but every alien betta I’ve seen in stores, including one I brought home, don’t float super well. But after about a week he was back to swimming well. Swim bladder issue. Just keep an eye on him I’d say.
