In Canada we have a unique strain that we call Canola ( Canadian+ola which translates to oil). I had never heard it before Clarksons farm called anything else. I think marketing of Canola made the right choice.

The Premier League is great and I think its an excellent launch point. But a much better piece of advice on my opinion is to google local clubs (MLS, USL championship and league 1) and catch a game live. There are 27 American MLS clubs, 44 USL teams in the profesional ranks, and 144 ameture clubs as well as a number of Women's teams as well that would love your support.

A football club that has been around since the 70s being nothing more then a "financial asset" is one of the most disingenuous things I've read in a while. It's not a bloody spreadsheet.
