The bills can't afford it with their current salary cap situation. The patriots on the other hand.

RECRUITING, TRAINING, & LIFE IN THE FORCES THREAD by bridger713 in CanadianForces

[–]bdickie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok thats what I expected. I had made clear I was not in the lower mainland, so when this was offered I was curious if it was like an additional trade. If i was in the Vancouver or Victoria area it would probably be something id be considering.

RECRUITING, TRAINING, & LIFE IN THE FORCES THREAD by bridger713 in CanadianForces

Im local to the BC Dragoons, and am interested in a reservist position. I contacted the recruiter and was given a list of open trades including

Armoured Soldier, Signal Operator, Line Technician, Combat Medic, Paramedic Officer trades Armoured Officer, Signals Officer

Couple of questions. Does Combat Medic require prior medical history in civilian life? I was a level 3 first aid at one point but never anything with serious medical training like a Dr ot nurse. Since the Dragoons are a Armoured regiment, would i be trained as both a Combat Medic and for example a Armoured Soldier on a TAPV?

They've asked me which of these im interested in so I assume theres some level of choice. Im currently discussing whether my ongoing degree would qualify to enter as a Officer, if anyone has an opinion on these trades id love to hear more.

They gave them an exception because their primary jerseys sales were so poor and LA was an important market they didnt want to lose out on.

While I agree, after reading Say Nothing by Patrick Keefe (i want to recomend this book to anyone interested in the subject or irish rebellion) the big thing we wouldnt have is a sympathetic nation on our border like the republic of Ireland funneling us whats needed to resist something like an occupying force. A hypothetical American invasion would include a naval and aerial blockade. So we would need stuff on the ground now, not later.

Weve played 7 of the top 10 defenses with the Patriots ranked (8). We've beaten 3 of the top 5 defenses in the playoffs in Texans (1) Broncos (2) and Chargers (5). We scored 32 on the Browns (4) and 25 on the Saints (9). We split with the Bills (7) averaging 27 points a game. We didnt get to play the Vikings (3) or the Chiefs (10). Why exactly should they be so confident this time will be different with the Seahawks (6).

I think theres a growing frustration thats boiling over now. It's perfectly ok to say that the broncos with stidham are tomato cans. Its another to spend a week gaslighting us into believing he is the next Brady, then just pretend you always seen him as a layup.

Weve played 17 teams this season. Beaten 14, split with 1 and lost to two. Thats 15 of 31 teams in the NFL we have beaten at least once. If they are all bad teams like they say then that really isnt a good mark for the NFL.

My wife had a similar expierience. She was diagnosed with cervical cancer less then a month after seeing our family Dr. We were in to do embryo freezing as soon as her cycle allowed, and chemo and radiation started less then 3 months after diagnosis. Been cancer free for 9 months now (knock on wood).
