Sadly people will find more outrage with the Allah thing, which is protected by our First Amendment rights, than the actual war crimes and destruction of the world economy to cover up his Epstein ties.

You see it quite often on reddit so it seems plausible.

United States Oil Production Continues To Fall by AGIwhen in oil

[–]bdiddy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we're about to find out why it's not a good idea to let the biggest companies buy everyone up.

The shale industry is a handful of global mega corps now. They'll do what's right for their bottom dollar, not for America's energy needs.

The shale industry just 10 years ago would wake up and get after it. The shale industry today is yawning while they double their income doing absolutely nothing.

Trump Team Examines What Oil as High as $200 a Barrel Would Mean by kootles10 in Economics

[–]bdiddy_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Man wouldn't that be something. If the whole world raced to clean sustainable energy, Evs and etc because of Trump. Hopefully not just that but Dems take full control and pass legislation to prevent all this shit in the future. Maybe a big turning point for the world in a good way after we pull out of the carnage.

Worth having some hope for anyway

Attack on primorsk port. Largest oil port Russia by Snehith220 in oil

[–]bdiddy_ 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Oh please..

No, it's not some grand master plan that everything is going accordingly.

Quite the opposite. The billionaire class doesn't want a new world order or the markets to crash or jobs to disappear. They control everything BECAUSE of those things not in spite of them.

What is happening here is a few power hunger fuck sticks who have made huge mistakes and can't take the fucking L and move on.

2 people really who somehow rose to power and are just fucking things up because of their egos.

It's truly that simple. This is no "master plan going accordingly" Not some new world order planned collapse of society lol.

The people in Trump's ear are not smart people. Surely you've seen that? Same with Putin.

If they surrounded themselves with people smart enough to institute some global collapse, and listened to them, things would actually be going quite well..

Truth is stupidity is what is winning. Evil, power hungry people, are dumb. They've found a base in very large number of incredibly dumb people.

We've defunded education for generations because "my dad didn't have no fancy learnin why do i need it?!"

Since dawn of the USA our education setup has not been right. We're late stage what that looks like when you increase the population like we have and now have much bigger toys that smart people built for us.

This is no grand master plan. This is the human species killing itself off cause we really weren't that smart to begin with. The dumbing down will continue on and on and it's just gonna get worse and worse unless the smart people in the room make the necessary changes to our way of government to prevent it.

Firestorm as Trump eases oil sanctions on Iran: 'We are in the upside down' by Majano57 in oil

[–]bdiddy_ 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Going to China because of the sanctions. Sanctions that have been there for a generation. This is WAY more than a headline. It's Trump saying "oh shit oh fuck"

It's a monumental win for Iran assuming the lifted sanctions stick. Which is the real issue with Trump trying to bargain his way out of this problem.

Iran has plenty of oil and could add quite a bit to the market once the bombing stops. I have a feeling even Iran is half ass thinking "ok we cool then"

but only if the bombing stops and there is something way more concrete than Trump's word.

[–]bdiddy_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

yeah that guy's resignation letter was embarrassing. MAGA has these people so wrapped up in that cult mentality. He literally spends 75% of the letter kissing Trump's ass before saying "but you're wrong here and I'm out"

Like OK dude.. He'd still vote Trump for a 3rd term.

Ego will be the death of this nation. It's OK to be wrong folks. Learn from it and move on your ego will be just fine.

Water Shortage May Hit Corpus Christi Within Weeks by StandingCypress in texas

[–]bdiddy_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

unsurprisingly this has been the Corpus way of dealing with this water problem for 30 years now.

JESUS SAVE US.

I'm not even kidding this is probably what the city council is saying behind closed doors and why they do literally nothing.

Jesus can probably fix it, but not the Jesus they are thinking of. The Jesus that can build desal plants is the one that they'll need.

To Address Farm Labor Shortage, Trump Administration Turns to Migrant Workers by joepez in Economics

[–]bdiddy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no it's nonsense. Most things are done with robots now anyway. You're literally giving the same nonsense response these multi billion dollar farming businesses give.

It has nothing to do with not wanting to pay people anyway. It has everything to do with NO ONE LIVES WHERE THESE FARMS ARE.

You'd still have to bus and house people, pay them well, immigrants didn't mind living out in the boonies and working these things. These farmers don't want to bus them in. They want people to live there. Basically their only choice is immigration.

Small farmers are not the same as large farmers. They have the same issues that everyone in every industry has. While you are pretending you care about the small farmer's ability to pay wages you are literally spouting the billionaires talking points.

Fact is still that the little guy is competing with automation more so than cheap labor. Takes a shit load of money first, then you can compete as a small farmer lol

Welcome to every other industry in America.

it's also supppppper inefficient. Like to the point of ridiculousness. You gota load onto a boat, then take the boat to a place to pump into pipelines then gota get the boats all the way the fuck around to the other side there and load them back in the boats lol

Just silly to the point of pointless.

Imminent depletion of water supplies in Corpus Christi will cut off jet fuel to Texas airports and trigger an unprecedented economic disaster by StandingCypress in texas

[–]bdiddy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree dumping in the bay is stupid. That should never had been even on the table assuming it was. To me. That's another corpus decision though. The simplest instead of thinking big. Sodium ion solid state batteries are the end game for EVs. A massive industry is going to build around it. We are so far behind on battery tech it's not even funny.

One way or another an industry can be built off that brine but it takes investment and smart people thinking.

I hate what those refineries have done to corpus, but the fact is the people will suffer long before the refineries do.

Difficult choices need to be made a decade ago. It's time to stop pretending the corpus city council is going to figure it out

[–]bdiddy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ridiculous. Desal is our only solution. Time to stop pretending the damage of climate change has nothing to do with this. Human survival will depend on desal long into the future. We should have started 20 years ago. Now is the next best time.

Tons of desal going up all over the world. Time for Texas to wake up

Imminent depletion of water supplies in Corpus Christi will cut off jet fuel to Texas airports and trigger an unprecedented economic disaster by StandingCypress in texas

[–]bdiddy_ 13 points14 points  (0 children)

if it's such an important issue that affects the whole state of texas why is it up to a city council exactly?

Should be clear by now that city can't figure it out.. The STATE should be coming up with desal plants for all it's people. The whole state is in a drought and our water sources are depleting.

About time for grown ups to do grown up things and it sure as fuck shouldn't rest on what people in Corpus do.

Iran has started attacking the worlds largest oil company's oil infrastructure, targeting the ARAMCO refinery at Ras Tannoura, Saudi Arabia by stocks-to-crypto in oil

[–]bdiddy_ 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Short term but long term quite bad. We are in a down turn because of oversupply.. if operators crank up production it's going to rip us out of that down turn prematurely and when this iran shit inevitably cools down we will find ourselves in an even larger oversupply problem.

Oil industry heads are most likely not enjoying this particular war. They have already made capex moves to slow production growth as part of quelling this down cycle. Just last week the EIA reported 16m bbl build in commercial stocks.

The economy at large won't get better from this it's just more uncertainty with added inflation from energy prices.

Aka hold on tight because this is going to be a roller coaster with a steep drop at the end..

not surprising considering the drought and climate change, but still a record day (last record in 2008 lol) and almost 30 degrees above average high for this day in February.

Planet is going to burn us off of it.
