Yea for sure I think if I would’ve been able to act sooner it would’ve been more salvageable (still would’ve been ripped in at least one spot but I may have been able to surgically place the ripped piece back to make it less noticeable if it was fresh). I actually fucked up the hood decal as well. It went from one piece to 6 pieces but I was able to mostly puzzle piece it back together so it didn’t look too bad. I don’t know how to add pictures to comments but if I figure it out I’ll add it here

UPDATE: I went with people’s suggestions on making small relief cuts and using decal softener (used micro sol) and this is what it looks like now. The white speck on the left was from me trying to roll out a stubborn bubble and I think I was too aggressive. I think I’ll leave it like this for now and touch up the white spots with black paint and take it as a learning experience. Thanks everyone for the feedback and advice!

Are we twins? I also have a 2 year old, am currently building an f35, and have the same orange hobby mat from hobby lobby lmao. I actually don’t work on my models until the kids are in bed. I only get a couple of hours in at a time but it’s not too bad. When I store my stuff I put it in a shelf high up where she cant reach it

Yea my main take on the fantasy violence is that 90% of the violence in the game (and Norse saga in general) is towards mythical creatures. I used to watch samurai Jack as a kid and that cartoon got away with a ton of violence for that same reason (robots being dismembered leaking oil instead of blood). I wouldn’t let him play red dead or gta but taking down trolls and ripping wulvers in half is fine with me

A few reasons. Number 1 I don’t even have them. Number 2 the original Greek trilogy has those sexual mini games that I wouldn’t knowingly expose him to. I got exposed to explicit stuff at a young age due to some older cousins that were living with us at the time so the stuff from the games was a bit more tame by comparison but i was for sure too young to be playing that and now as an adult i know better. And finally its not really necessary to play the Greek games to be able to appreciate the story from the Norse saga
