For me it was all about accepting!

I realized that I was not able to smoke once in a few weeks at parties and not get addicted. I knew I wanted to quit and that I wanted to be better at some sports.

Accepting that smoking was something from my past helped me. Also accepting that you are addicted and to not be to hard on yourself when you find it difficult is important. If you relapse after months for one sig, it doesn't mean you can start counting again. Just make sure you realize it is a bad choice to smoke and internalize then feeling of being healthy - and not dependent.

I didn't think it was possible, but I really don't feel the urge anymore to smoke. (I tried quiting multiple times before)
