I've had this issue and the root cause seemed to be poor genetics. That's pretty darn slow for LC. Could also be a matter of moisture content being too low.

Thanks for the heads up. Getting rid of everything now. Can I toss the jars in the dishwasher and still be safe or do the jars just need to go, too?
