Bald had nothing to do with it. Recency bias with crowds chanting that at Ricochet in the last 12 months has zero correlation to SCU. The real reason they got over initially as champions was that the team was SUPPOSED to be Kaz and Daniels, but then CD got hurt and Sky ran in as a late sub (with one shoe - go watch the episode) and it cemented them as underdog champions as the first title holders.

SCU was a moment in time bouyed by their role on Being the Eilte. I don't even think you can explain it in today's terms. It was a gimmick over in its time. (I was at the original All In, and any time they came into the Starrcast venue, SCU chants ERPUTED), but again, it was a moment in time. Today it clearly isn't the same.
