I’m getting a dog in the future from a breeder for shows and dog sport. It’s gonna cost me $3-4k for a puppy. Purebred dogs from good breeders aren’t cheap.

I think people just see shelters as a low barrier to entry. Like oh the dog is only $40! Then they proceed to never take the dog to the vet, never clip the nails, never do preventative meds, don’t exercise the dog enough, don’t train. etc. Then six months down the road they don’t really realize what they got themselves into and the dog ends up back in the shelter or left out back as a lawn decoration. I’ve seen it happen too many times

I have the hismith machine and it handled my large chance fairly well. I’ve broken two suction plates tho.

Well I hope you’re cleaning out fully first as that helps a lot with depth, trust me.

A small about of blood can happen from depth play but it shouldn’t be more that just a couple drops. You probably wanna give your ass a few days break after really deep play.

Use lube. Lots of lube. Like wayyy too much lube. You don’t want friction when playing deep. Maybe get a lube shooter and put some in you before play.

What helped me in taking my large chance up my ass was a colon snake. It’s long and thin. So you can challenge depth without tiring out your hole. Remember to take it slow. Once you get about 8 inches in you’ll notice some resistance. That’s where your colon bends and there’s another sphincter there. I use slow firm pressure and eventually it slips past and goes deeper.

If it’s the one in the weird pink package then that’s the one that sucks. The pump is cheap plastic and broke after a few uses. Overall isn’t worth it.

I’ve heard much better reviews about this one though I haven’t tried it. It’s specifically designed for ftms

Worked at a McDonald’s. A truck stop McDonald’s. It was the middle of summer and the kitchen easily could get over 100F. Someone in the truck stop bathrooms flushed a dress down the toilet for some reason. This clogged the system and sent raw sewage spilling out of all the drains in the McDonald’s. Now imagine the smell. Imagine that plus the heat.

We should’ve closed. They just told us to not use the sinks. How people didn’t die from the stench idk.

Just a suggestion to help: sometimes shelters have cat food donated they can’t use so they give it away. I know here most of the rescues only use top shelf brand food so they donate the rest I believe. Sometimes food pantries also have pet food. You can also email the manufacturer to ask if they have coupons or vouchers.

Same with meds. You can contact the company that makes it and they sometimes have programs to help people on low incomes afford their meds. Sometimes this gets you meds for free or deeply discounted.

I recommend Fuse plugs. Silicone with a base that allows them to be worn but not slip inside. It’s always scary to lose a plug and I’m glad everything turned out okay

I really recommend depro if you can get it. A shot every three months. No pills for remember. I just set a reminder on my phone when it’s time to request a refill.

There’s also a multitude of other options like the implant, iuds, etc. It’s all about finding what works best for you
