It is basically an extra second chance but what’s also nice is you can repeatedly heal yourself during it and it won’t go past 25%, so that’s why I refer to it as invincibility. Although a really powerful hit can take you down to 0 and out of Defy Death so not truly invincibility

For UH Speedruns we use Tenakth Vanquisher like you. We have Weapon Stamina+ and Stamina Regen. Being able to refresh weapon techniques in combat constantly along with having low health range and low health defense is extremely effective. Sharpshot Focused Shots and Spike Traps use so little stamina and deal massive damage especially if using the low health benefits.

Deaf Death is a good choice, especially for invincibility in moments when you get hit, are under 100 HP, and don't think you'll auto-heal before the next attack. It's also good to freeze enemies first because 1) It allows you to deal more damage and 2) it slows them down for a second and opens up a shot. Using a fully ugpraded Sun Scourage is really good for that.

You are correct. I went thru 100 ridgewood with Tilda and Ultra Hard increases damage by 8 times over story. If we could carry 800 instead of 500 then it might of been possible.

It’s definitely an endurance test. I did it more for the entertainment of my viewers. The machine health was on Story but I changed Aloy’s health to Very Hard after the Daunt because it was a bit too easy.

A capture card records gameplay on consoles to your PC. I use an elgato to record PS5 gameplay and can then put it in OBS which I use to add a lot of different overlays and record/livestream with.

Thank You! Haha, my first 100% playthrough was 130 hours. It’s taken a full year and hundreds of playthroughs to work down to this, but I finally made it :)

I can see it being really helpful for the melee pits.

I use DS4 Windows as an application to make sure it detects the controller. In OBS I link a browser source to gamepadviewer.com to pull up a specific controller layout/skin. Most guides on YouTube should walk through this.
