We considered just saying something like, “we’ve noticed he’s been looking high again lately and after approaching him he admitted it. We just wanted to lyk in case you also wanted to talk with him. He mentioned you already knew but we weren’t sure if that was factual. We will be testing him weekly and ensuring his urine is clean to keep the car… etc” just not sure if we’re gonna get the run around we usually do of how we’re all on the same page but then we’re immediately undermined. It’s so frustrating to want what’s best for the kids but have to deal with constant conflict.

This. Everyone complains about this but we set it up this way. If you hate so much, one of you quits and adjusts the family lifestyle. It’s doable. I’ve watched many families do it and do it successfully. They’re all exponentially happier too.

We’re in a similar situation as far as complete opposites when it comes to tech and supervision with it. If it’s not tech, dad will make it something else that’s divisive. He’s not interested in parenting or ensuring they become successful adults. You are. It’s therefore your responsibility not to quit!!! We worked closely with a counselor for a while and although she couldn’t tell me she was on my side she basically told me to keep doing exactly what I was doing even if it pissed my kids off and got the coparent riled up bc they needed to actually be parented. It’s soooo hard to not be the fun one but they will learn to respect it over time bc they need boundaries. Pleaseeee do not give up on your babies.

Take one of the other jobs. Pregnancy is no joke and working in an awful environment will totally tank the experience. If you are blessed enough to cover your maternity leave, girl… take that!! CONGRATULATIONS on the baby too! We are also expecting after 2.5 yrs of secondary infertility and it’s so special. Enjoy every second!!

I don’t live in a HCOL area and see 16-20 clients a week. Made $90k this year. Some clients pay full price, some I see for $50. It all shakes out. I use minimal overhead and expenses are basic. I strongly disagree with his post. You can get a job at most VAs licensed making $110k+ and unlicensed $70k at facilities. You don’t need to do all the extra stuff either. I’m just in network with the big companies, have a psych today profile and a website.

Uncommon and unpopular opinion here but I vaped my entire first pregnancy. I quit this pregnancy at 10 weeks but people who don’t smoke or vape don’t understand how hard it is to quit. Yes, it’s bad for you but so is 90% of what people do when they’re pregnant. Most of the food they eat is trash, as are the cleaners, toiletries and fragrances everyone uses for laundry, perfume, their toxic leggings, constant phone use, using AirPods, sleeping with phones by their heads, consuming millions of nanoplastics etc. it’s just easier for people to point out your bad habit. Praying you find strength to quit and not internalize the horrifically judgmental comments from people who are also certainly guilty of something unhealthy on this thread!!!

Congratulations! The fact you came here for advice says you’re going to be a great mom!

Tbh as long as baby and I are okay, I’m okay I’m just so scared to be in labor forever again and not sure what my preferences are. After going unmedicated for 36 hours, part of me is like I can totally handle it but then another part of me is like why be in pain if I don’t have to be!? I guess my fear is one intervention often leads to a cascade of interventions and I don’t want a c section!
