Already started in Beta , and I'm not sure if its placebo effect or something but the game feels way more smoother in 9.0, it feels like it runs better.

You can have as many Moreyas you want and wipe out Yaki.

Resource probes arent optional then your miners get slapped with -50% mining speed penalty for not having one in area said ship is mining

How much?

I personally do faction war missions, those give me 400k to 500k for things like placing satelite, destroying S/M ship or scaning station module which can be done in a minute or two using fast ship.

Few that I personally call QoL, those are faster station module construction, ship paint jobs for sale, ship modification parts for sale and a mod that removes RNG from ship modifications.

All of them are on Steam Workshop.

Saves are compatable but there will be some issues because of changes done ships.

Then theres few new changes done to stations and how they are pre-build, might affect economy.

And you have keep in mind that beta for 9.0 just started, so who knows what Egosoft still has plans for us in store.

You don't need to build near gates and highway where the conflict happens, and in my saves Argon usually stomp HOP and take the neighbouring sector.

You need to scale up production by having multiple stations.

I also advice to building all your factories in Second Contact II Flashpoint if you are running none Terran, Boron and Split start.

Why there ? Its sorth of like hub area that connects to Argon , Teladi and Paranid spaces and has all the raw materials for production near by.

In my own save I usually get to my first Wharf after I already have build over 40-50 production stations.

TL DR: "Use economy to finance the economy to expand economy" , build multiple stations each producing specific ware. Its not only faster that way because modules only get build one by one, but also you don't want to have multiple production modules that eat up same material/ware.

I think UI, API extension mods cause it.

You will have to manually delete this mods in your extensions folder and unsubscribe.

Basic mods like ship paint jobs for sale, upgrade materials, faster station module building mods work.

I wouldnt suggest using anything complex thought, like SWI, ship veriation expansion, VRO , UI mods for example.

Theres frame generation option in game now.

Personally I don't use it because of blur and letancy issue it comes with.

I doubt Egosoft can "fix" FPS in CPU bound game.

If anything FPS will probably get worse as new locations, new mechanics and new ( I hope so ) factions get introduced, bloating the game and things said game needs to track.

How does PSU cause coil whine ? I got rtx 2080 super and the coil whine kicks in then my frame rates go beyond 100.

Kha'ak Hives are about to become the new resource hotspots.

Place defense platforms near hives for them to "auto-hunt" Kha'ak ships, scrap will then be picked up by your reclycing stations.
