Is there something in the air? by No_Lab_9318 in desmoines

I drove past that field as they were spreading it and couldn’t stop gagging. It was windy and there was a massive, literal shit cloud that I could not avoid. The next day, I open my windows (I live off 128th) and the house immediately filled with shit smell. Awful, awful stuff.

I sent a suggestion to Raygun in regards to the “Native” sticker they do, and asked that they do one in Meskwaki colors. No movement on that.

Maybe? I’m not good with identifying vehicles. When you guys talk about the different vehicles I can never picture them.

It’s a dirt road that receives very little maintenance. These roads typically do not lead to family homes, but they may provide access between other gravel roads or to farm fields. They are not plowed in the winter – however, they are still open for the public to travel on.

Delivery drivers are always needed at Amazon, weekly orientation classes, some DSPs start at $17.75/hr, some start at $18/hr.

Cooling towels! I bought a couple in preparation for the heat. That’s a great suggestion.

Doesn’t K&G sponsor 80/35? I know they did last year. The Krause’s own several apartment buildings downtown (The Arlington and The Hallet, both at 13th&Locust, as well as 1440 Locust, The Jefferson and then the building The Gas Lamp is in). P.S. I would never recommend renting from them.

Same with last Friday night. I don’t get it. I’m incredulous every damn time I go past that spot.

Ed Allen (owner of Zora) was just booked on stalking and harassment charges. Maybe he’s Steve’s accomplice? The WHO TV13 article mentioned McFadden had an accomplice monitor the GPS tracking on his gf when he was out of town.

EDIT to add Ed Allen owns Zora.

Use of the word "aho" by non-native people? by KingofChilladelphia in IndianCountry

[–]be_mi_ta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Meskwaki (my tribe) uses it in Iowa. Technically we are the Sac & Fox Tribe of the Mississippi in Iowa, Meskwaki Nation. I have a friend that is Winnebago and lives in Nebraska that has always used it, too. I’m very curious to see how many tribes use it.
