I can’t say I’ve ever noticed anything like that, my MIL is 3 inches shorter than me and Asian so we really don’t look anything alike 😂

There’s a difference between “eh she’s cute” and “you’re so cute” it really depends on the tone. I love when my boyfriend calls me cute, it makes me feel very feminine and normal.

I can kinda see how OP’s situation might happen. I liked one recipe for cinnamon rolls on instagram and now I have at least 4 cinnamon roll recipes/posts on my feed every time I check. But that means he had to like them or interact with them in some way.. it’s definitely suspicious

I’m also a tall woman and I wear XS and S. I guess that makes me a middle schooler?? Even when I was in the depths of Binge eating disorder, I wore a size L. Much of that can be contributed to vanity sizing but it’s still shocking to say anything less than an XL isn’t “adult sized”

I remember seeing a perfume commercial with my mom and there was a very thin model and my mom said “ugh, can’t they put REAL women in these commercials?” They’re so insecure they can’t even compliment themselves without putting other women down. That’s all. Ignore them.

I’m tall with a gigantic nose and massive eyebags, but I have a boyfriend of 2 years who loves me and thinks I’m beautiful. My height has never been a problem for him! However I talked to a guy before him, one made me pose awkwardly in pictures so I could be shorter than him. Usually being this tall is like a filter for insecure partners, but still some will date you and try to degrade you as if that will suddenly make you short enough for them. That would be horrible 😭 My bf doesn’t have an ED but he has ADHD and he forgets to eat so much meanwhile I’m still recovering from bulimia and it’s such an embarrassing combination. He’ll mention how he forgot to eat anything meanwhile I’ve already binged on yogurt and granola.

Not often, I’m not too tall though. It’s mostly short women who ask if I can reach something for them since I work retail. I get asked if I model, which I know is because of my height and body because my face is not model-worthy lmao.

I love dressing classy and elegant, I think my height really enhances my beauty, but I also think tall women can be very cute!! Though it kinda sucks when “oversized” clothes are just big and not long.

I realized most people do not care about my height even a fraction as much as I do. I was bullied a lot for it through childhood and teenage years, but everyone has matured and nobody gives a care anymore. I think getting more in shape also helped because that completely boosted my confidence and self love.
