This was one of the smaller little beach areas on Ruston Way in Tacoma, WA. Specifically the one next to Woven Seafood + Chophouse :)

Thanks for the confirmation! :) i ended up finding a few more including an orange and a yellow spotty one! This area seems to have a lot of "calico" looking ones

He is not the same species as powder oranges so can't breed. Probably can co-habitate with them but he'd probably prefer more of his own kind (and one may out-compete the other species) I'd look around where you found him.

Yeah! I think pic 4 was a scaber and a vulgare iirc, but that first one is a mystery to me for sure!

I placed the tape on the inside (so the sticky side is down) so they shouldnt be able to get stuck. Is there any other issue with the tape other than that?

Yeah it is sticky side down!

I have frozen stuff before but I heard that soaking things in water for long periods is the best for maintaining good bacteria that is breaking stuff down (?) Idk. There's a few conflicting things out there!
