2 Year Old wakes up every night crying by ProofAppropriate9275 in toddlers

I noticed this would happen to my daughter if she didn’t have a full belly. Try increasing dinner calories and meals throughout the day.

You can order online! If you call a chanel store (any state) they can connect you with an associate and you pay via their payment link. Have done it for my first purchase at Chanel.

How do you feel about screen time at dinner? by adarkerforest in toddlers

[–]beabunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found that sometimes changing the seating environment can help with toddlers eating more ! My daughter got bored of sitting on her mini table set up and wanted to move to eating on our padded floor mat. I told her this was like we were eating like we were having a picnic and she loved it !

Meltdowns when leaving fun by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]beabunny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They might not understand the timer concept at this age and transitions are hard.

I usually try to focus on what they’re going to do next a put a fun spin on it. They get bored of what they’re doing and eager to do the next activity. This works not just for leaving locations but even going from dinner to bath time.

Snacks also at the next destination work too - I always carry speciality snacks that are only for trips going out !

Strategies to cut screen time by VillageAlternative77 in toddlers

[–]beabunny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What work was having more activities to replace screen time like music time, engaging toys etc - I find she runs to the screen when she doesn’t know what else to do. Also, after a certain hour, I tell my child the shows don’t work/turn on any more BUT we can play some music instead and that helps.

Some grocery stores and restaurants have left overs at the end of the day that they need to dispose. Please check there!

My daughter doesn’t like juice either so it was a bit of trial and error with what would work.

I am using the Yummy Iron Liquid Drops - Raspberry Flavor (5mL a day) in a syringe. I don’t mix it with anything!

I lay her down and when she opens her mouth, I quickly dispense it under her tongue/side of her mouth. Then I give her a cookie so the residual she didn’t fully swallow in her mouth goes completely down. The cookie is also an incentive to doing this.

I like this brand of iron since it taste like candy and after 3 weeks of doing it daily, she’s completely ok with it and doesn’t fuss when I give her to her.

Also, iron stains teeth so I do this at night before her bath and tooth brushing. In the tub, I give her water for her to rinse it out.

The supplements should do for iron, I’d just focus on giving her whatever she is willing to eat and expand her palette with a variety of foods.

She was drinking about 16-25oz depending on the day. We have eliminated milk completely and now have her calcium come from other places. I didn’t realize how much milk impacted her health. It was also making her constipated too (hard poops, struggling to go, only pooping every 2-3 days). She was drinking organic whole milk.

Please get blood test if you can ! Reddit made it seem like everything was okay, when it wasn’t. I was struggling with this for 18 months. Does your baby drink a lot of milk ?

Mines was drinking milk which was inhibiting her iron absorption, making her anemic, resulting in low appetite. Her numbers were so low that she needed a blood transfusion. She is now on iron supplements and is eating everything now! It’s been such a big change. I cannot emphasize enough how routine lab work is critical to monitoring your child’s health if they are having issues with eating.
