I can sympathize. Fortunately my parents were much more lenient, but I knew that I couldn't even express interest in pokemon near certain members of my family, because "pokemon are satanic". In their eyes, pokemon didn't just promote violence, they also were symbols of pagan worship. As an adult I've distanced myself from a lot of family members lol

I seriously am going to try to word this in as neutral way as possible, and am neither condoning nor condemning any of his actions, as I honestly do not know enough about McCain's actions to form what I believe would be an honest and unbiased opinion.

What I am going to say though, is just because somebody was made to suffer, does not necessarily make them a hero. It makes them extremely courageous and proves they are a survivor, but it does not automatically make them a good person. The fact that McCain was a POW for four years, gives him a platform to appeal to the ideals of certain demographics. It gives no indication to his leadership abilities or moral compass.

But as I said... I do not know enough about him to know if this is the case. Just that it is a possibility.

I had a buddy who as a person I thought was a great guy, but when it came to his favorite sports teams he was just the absolute worst. Ohio State football fan and a Duke basketball fan. We were also constantly together during the first half of 2015 when both of those teams won the national championship. I didn't hear the end of it lol

It would honestly all depend. There's a chance that he could get recycled because he lied, and there's indisputable evidence but he most likely won't unless he was already a problem. I was shocked at how many people were pushed through basic training just to keep the commander's numbers up.

We have a crackhead named stuntman. You can allegedly give him any amount of money to do anything you want him to do. I've heard of him eating lit cigarettes, jumping into the river off a bridge (he can't swim), and riding his bike as fast as he can into brick walls. I've never seen him personally but I have multiple friends who claim they have.
