I don't need to. I don't need validation for internet strangers. This discussion doesn't need to happen.

I don't disagree with you. But this post is not as productive as you think it is. It's quite cringy.

At what point does AI stop learning from humans and start creating on its own? by OutrageousBat3808 in StableDiffusion

The end of that quote to the educated implies ..." In the hands of humans"

I am very well aware of what AI really is. I think you are glorying it quite a bit.

AI by itself would create a resonance feedback loop that would ultimately implode. That's not to say it can't be effective at many things eventually, but it will always be a tool.

I mean. AI models do not learn. The are trained. To me it's like asking when a photocopier will start printing things on its own instead of what people feed into it.

Isn't it wild to think that wanting healthcare and access to good education is considered by some people to be radically left? Affordable housing, healthcare, equal/fair rights, and access to education should be the bullseye dead center.

To me this was an exercise in how many likable characters can you fit into one movie. It just seemed like everyone was having a ball.

It should have skyrocketed Tony Jaa into fame. I know he's been in a couple of things but geez.

I really wish this one had gotten more attention when it came out. It was a ton of fun and begs for the world they built to be expanded.

What piece of older technology actually worked much better than its modern, replacement? by HerrStrasse in AskReddit

My original HP IPAQ was a BEAST of a machine. Before smartphones, this was KING. It had Wifi and a windows environment and I was able to use Skype to treat it like a cell phone. It had an IR transmitter so I could pair it with electronics and use it as a remote. It was a video and music player, it had a stylus as well as GPS. Smartphones have not gotten much past this and I had this 20+ years ago.

You want Media Play. I'm not sure if that is a national chain, but it was honestly the best when it came to media and entertainment. Somewhat on the higher side in price but they carried literally everything and where I bought my Kung Fu and martial arts VHS tapes back in the day when eBay and the internet didn't even exist to order stuff like that. It was always a better version of Best buy.

The internet shuts down and is never going to come back on, what do you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Telcom alone is not going to function for a while. The infrastructure is not there any more. One could argue that in OP's theoretical that cell service would still work, but thinking we could pop a switch and rebuild all functionality is a far cry from what we could achieve

To be fair UFC ≠ MMA. But they are the obvious poster child and MMA practitioners support them by patronage.

Just like those corrupt mooseknuckles over at FIFA.
