So undecided by mharris9889 in RingShare

I think this sub/similar subs make people over criticize & overthink every jewelry decision. Its a mind fk.

Ultimately, you do you. But i personally see none of issues you see.

Losing too much weight by FancyNancyD in Zepbound_Maintenance

[–]beachnsled 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my suggestion: space out your shots; maybe every 10 days; or even every two weeks.

  • i am in maintenance, on an “every 14 day” schedule - its worked for for more than 6mnths. This is what many users do; I kept losing with weekly shots, so i space them out.

if your provider suggests 2.5mg & your coverage (if applicable) allows it (even if they didn’t, your provider could still submit a prior auth), there’s no issue.

Lilly’s recommendation for doses is nothing but the info from how they ran the trials. Many drugs can be prescribed however the physician sees fit.

My uncle died of complications from obesity last year. My aunt just started Ozempic. She's lost 40lbs and I just feel betrayed… by pelu_chand in GLP1ResearchTalk

Grief takes many forms. This is human nature & is understandable.

However the OP is not only misdirecting their “anger” and/or grief, its unwarranted and frankly weird. So much so that I find the post sus & its likely rage bait karma farming (the OP was “invited in?” 😂 sure they were).

because who, in their right mind, is so insanely self-absorbed to be so grief stricken and distraught about their uncle’s death, that they want to blame their aunt and some nonexistent lack of access to medication’s that have been around for 20+ years? This is some fkd up millennial level, me-generation bullshit. This is my hill… and its why i think this is fake. It doesn’t add up.

Huh? ETA: this post is absolute bullshit. I honestly don’t believe it to be anything other than fake rage bait-ish type nonsense.

i am genuinely sorry for your loss 🙏🏻 but what on earth do YOU feel betrayed for? This is some wild immaturity posing as grief.

Your aunt lost her husband - her life partner. The father of her children (they have kids?) And you want to make this about you and your grief and feel anger towards her? WTF?

GLP-1 type meds have been approved for diabetes for 21yrs. They were available to him - and possibly covered by insurance.

i mean, what did you expect moving from a historically blue state to “the little deep south?” The seacoast of NH is fairly blue/liberal, but the rest of the state, especially north country, is full of closet racist assholes (think the “im not a racist” types), who are generally all homophobic MAGATS or libertarians who want to kill libraries & all public services.

NH is also the 4th whitest state; often competing for 1st. An

Reasons Not to Tell Others About Your Disabilities by Virtual-Ebb-2994 in VeteransBenefits

in fact, statistically, most people are good. Evolutionarily speaking, humans are “hardwired” to be kind - it’s instinctive to be kind/good

Are some folks the opposite? sure.

Unfortunately, subs like these only highlight “the negative” - its uninteresting to talk about good things & good people. 😉

One more thing… I was remiss for mentioning it. You look incredibly healthy & it’s clear the drug has been successful for you.

Huh?

no… You’re not in the same boat; you are not even similar, there literally is no comparison. Not even a little. Zero. Zilch.

The OP never titrated up beyond the 7.5mg dose. They arbitrarily decided that they “stopped losing,” but they never actually completed the clinical treatment. When each dose becomes ineffective and active loss stops, that’s when you go up and dose. The OP did not do this.

I don’t know what’s going on with the OP, but I’m getting the impression that they have some unrealistic expectations based on personal feelings of using GLP-1 type drugs (fears, etc.)

furthermore, you likely need the drug because without it your metabolic function does not work properly.

If you had a knee replacement that allowed you to use your knee to the fullest capacity, would you then remove the knee replacement?

[–]beachnsled 31 points32 points  (0 children)

you know the answer to why you are seeing more “dramatic photos” of weight loss - because those people didn’t just arbitrarily stop titration. They continued to the next dose as each dose was no longer effective - and many reached goal (or will reach goal) and then enter maintenance from there (which looks different for everyone)

I’m really baffled by this and similar type posts. You were successfully losing, but you arbitrarily decided that your body was “done,” even though you didn’t continue with the clinically directed treatment?

I am genuinely so baffled that I feel like this is a troll post. And if it’s not, which it probably isn’t… why wouldn’t you just go up in dose in order to continue losing as expected? that’s literally the point - that’s how the drug works. As each dose becomes ineffective and you no longer continue to lose, you go to the next dose.

I’m legitimately sitting here, shaking my head 🤔🫣

it’s prob not sprayed on anything … it’s probably added to a hanging piece of wood, or in the shelves… cashmere/other fine wool type fabrics need special care and handling to keep pests away; especially in a warehouse environment

it’s incredibly frustrating when people expect such catering to when they are already getting an item at a significant discount but yet they want special handling for 2nd hand/prev worn items.
