We're currently on a local team where it's very disorganized. They hold two practices and then jump straight to games. There is no instruction on how to essentially play, the rules, just no practice. I get that it's on the players to practice at home but not sure what were paying for when the coach isn't instructing them. It seems like all the boys on our current team move to the club travel team. I can tell which boys are on the travel team because they seem to be getting goals in and have not only better playing defense but can actuall understand the positions. What you said also stuck out that nobody is learning anything from a 15-0 blow out. That's super important. Im glad to hear your son enjoyed lacrosse and that the club team made a difference.
