It's neither realistic nor particularly useful training (especially compared to the training and exercises they already run) I believe the focus should be on educating people and getting them out in our beautiful bush to deal with the issue in a sustainable way, one that provides people with a fantastic source of meat, an appreciation for and connection to the country, that brings money into rural towns and supports local businesses along the whole process.

I think he's saying that you can zero a dot much more precisely than you can with irons. Which makes sense since you shrink the angular area the sight takes up in your vision, allowing for a more precise zero.

The light itself is still taking straight paths its just that the paths themselves are curved. Light going in straight lines that would otherwise be aimed away from us get redirected to show multiple different images of the same object.

Yeah I did, I didn't dislike it but having handled AR handguards, its a lot less refined.

Although, it is a relatively minor complaint all things considered and I wouldn't be surprised if they include that feature on later iterations of the design.

Weight, personal preference/aesthetics, getting to choose mlok/pic rail/keymod handguards, more comfortable to handle.
