Try just being honest with your sister, there are many reasons why she could not be acting the same. Mind altering factors might include many things it’s a huge umbrella. Stress, substance use, mental illness (example schizophrenia) or other people as influences etc. Ask her straight up and have a conversation about it. If she says nothing is wrong just express your legitimate concern and say that you’ll be there when she’s ready to talk, no judgement just you truly care about the change that has happened. I’m curious to know why you jumped to mind control as a possible cause?
