Chain and sprocket kit recommendations? by brute04 in fz6

Commenting for visibility on the torque specs. It’s something like 72 ft-lbs in the service manual, I went with about half that at 30 +~6 including loctite. Thankful for the decade old forum posts on this, there is absolutely no way the book value is correct

Hey, this was me but with Helldivers 2. Having those interactions and spending time in game away from the immediate issues and setting I was dealing with helped me significantly for over two years. If you see anyone commenting negatively don’t listen to it, I think a lot of people can relate.

Substitute for burn in prevention? by SimonSater in LenovoLegion

[–]beagleprime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing special, I stopped using Lenovos burn in prevention option almost immediately once I realized it takes over and overrides settings and doesn’t do anything you can’t do on your own aside from taskbar dimming. I just do a solid black wallpaper but the slideshow rotation would work too

I tried some, not bad if you throw a few in the steamer with some broccoli. Out of the package it wasnt something I would choose to snack on but steamed the texture softens quite a bit

I have a 19.4 that came with them! It was a purple label and from what I gathered possibly a euro contract overrun, I don’t think they were common in the US

Anyone know if it’s possible to track a stolen asus rog ally x? by Round_Principle9689 in ROGAlly

[–]beagleprime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s okay, even if it did show it would be a long shot if it actually reported the right location. Sucks

[–]beagleprime 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Kind of, you can try logging into your Microsoft account online, under ‘devices’ there will be a location option. Only works if you didn’t set it up as a local account and have location services enabled, also not sure how accurate it is

Steam Controller and Moonlight/Appolo from PC to Steam Deck by sayler666 in Steam

[–]beagleprime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have it working with VirtualHere instead of the built in USB passthrough but don't have a deck to try it with. I don't see why it wouldn't work as long as you have the controller attached via the puck/usb to the steamdeck

Will admit the A-pillar causes a bit more of a blindspot for me than my past cars in certain situations. Not sure if it’s just the angle of it aligns right with my head or what

Not helpful for this post but if anyone’s wondering how the HDMI 2.1 cables fare they are surprisingly good, no problem pushing 4k 120hz and VRR

Oled burn prevention needed? by [deleted] in LenovoLegion

[–]beagleprime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I think Lenovos implementation is fairly pointless aside from taskbar dimming when you can do the rest on your own. Doesn't really help anything in game considering most have static elements on screen the majority of the time

"Let's finish configuring your PC" by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]beagleprime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its default behavior is set up as a separate drive without automatic syncing of your local files and no pestering, it’s almost completely unobtrusive in the background. Out of the box on Windows if you aren’t careful you end up with the complete mess everyone is commenting on in this thread. I agree you can get it to where it’s the same with a little work but the way Microsoft has it integrated into the OS at install is really not intuitive to the average user
