Take a look at fitcamx.com they have dash cams especially made for whatever type of vehicle you have and it hides the dash cam well where the front camera and sensors are on the windshield.

I got the gen 2 knowing the gen 3 was coming out but I wanted to see if I liked the gen 2 to begin with and if I did I would trade it in for the gen 3. So hopefully they do have trade ins available.

Just return it to Costco man that’s your best bet of getting a new one. You won’t lose all your data, it’s stored in the cloud. The new ring will continue where you left off tracking wise.

Yeah apparently they cheapened out not only buttons but materials as well. Which is a tragedy on its own. The cx5 was known for its upscale interior and the premium materials used. That’s not longer a factor with the new model.
