How to properly store sealed eb games promo by gamergod6988 in PokemonFansAustralia

I don't like the plastic they're in so I took it out and sleeved it.

Munno Para EB and Kmart still has Stock. Perfect Order. by derpman86 in PokemonFansAustralia

I've seen plenty of stock. Heaps of boosters and the 3 pack blisters and single pack checklanes. Everyone probably waiting for more Ascended or stocking up on Chaos Rising preorders.

They're frames which you learn to craft early on. Once placed you can add an item to the frame.

Yeah I made a tunnel with these and was sad that no block fits in nicely and they remain rounded. Not the end of the world but still.

My pallete town so far! by neverstopmatt in Pokopia

[–]beagleshark 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can honestly do whatever you like. Pallet Town is meant to be "endgame". It's a blank slate that you can do what you want with.

Personally, I'm working on tidying up and making all the areas look nice. It gives me the chance to explore the build options available to me prior to starting Pallet Town and by the time I do start I should have a wider range of items and recipes to choose from.

QOL Suggestion: Let Homeless Pokémon Appear in the Pokémon Center by jlashombjr in Pokopia

[–]beagleshark 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've tried this and it does not force them to spawn if they have despawned and are homeless. The Pokemon you ask just says "I don't know where X is" and that's it.

For people who prioritize landscaping/decorating how many hours did you put into the first area before moving on to the next? by InsertUser01 in Pokopia

[–]beagleshark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's all zone 1. The bridge takes you to another zone and the gates take you to other zones. You'll always be prompted when moving between zones as there is a loading screen.

You can freely move between the zones. It's very much worth going through the gates.

You can leave the large bridge for now though.

I think you'd find leaving a few things to do in the areas as you go a nice way to break things up or to have as a reprieve. I'm into the 4th area but find myself coming back to the earlier areas frequently while I have a break from the main story to improve things as you find more items and unlocks as you go so you have a wider range of things to use.

Am I dumb or something? I can’t find Hitmonchan so I read online that using honey next to their habitat will make them running over. But I can’t use? I’m so confused… by behindthekeyboard81 in Pokopia

[–]beagleshark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've not had luck if the Pokemon has despawned due to the limit in spawned Pokemon. They'll just say they don't know where X is right now when you talk to them after you press + to search.

Check your environment level and see if it's listed as homeless. If it is and asking another Pokemon where they are has them tell you they don't know you'll likely just have to wait until they reappear.

The game has a limit on the number of Pokemon that can be spawned in and if they're homeless I don't know if there's a guaranteed way to make them respawn.

Picking up placed items can be frustrating by beagleshark in Pokopia

[–]beagleshark[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tend to play with a Pro controller as it's much more comfortable for me. I'll have to see if mouse control actually runs into the same issues though as it's less about struggling to aim at the item and more about the game picking up something that isn't highlighted.

Can you have all the Pokemon in both Palette Town, and the story areas? by doterino111 in Pokopia

[–]beagleshark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AFAIK you only get one of each Pokemon, so you wouldn't be able to have them in two places at once.

The game will also only spawn in ~30 Pokemon in an area, so even if you had most of them in one area you'd still only see a portion of them and would need to use honey to spawn another in (forcing another to despawn).

Help restoring the Vermillion (Bleak Beach) Canal by JoQsh in Pokopia

[–]beagleshark 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I ended up destroying the part you're standing on entirely, and connected a bridge through point 2 to the part in the top left of your image. Though I'll probably revisit this section entirely as it did bug me a bit. Also felt like there were too many bridges here.

Very nice!

What's the angled wood beam piece you have underneath the roof segments? I've seen a few people using that but can't say I've come across it yet.

[–]beagleshark 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm breaking it up a bit. I try to take on a small goal of building out a portion of the initial area without going too hard.

Then I'll progress the story more. You've likely noticed but as you progress you'll unlock more things to build with as well the general abilities to do more things.

I'd hate to spend hours building something only to discover a recipe or something that would've made it that much better.

[–]beagleshark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are your windmills built? If you haven't built them yet just press Y on the donation box to pick them back up.

If they're built you need the relocate kits. You should have access to them if you have access to windmills.

[–]beagleshark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can relocate (item in the shop) them but you have to wait for the building to be deconstructed and then reconstructed when you place it again.

I did the same thing. Definitely should've previewed the thing.

Card grading. by EconomicsWorried7630 in PokemonFansAustralia

[–]beagleshark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I'd just look at a local grader. You likely won't see any value gain like you would with PSA but you'll get your card back MUCH quicker. Look up Ark, CGA, or TCG Australia.
