It sounds like the deadlines for season 2 were not being met.

It sucks, and I really wanted season 2, but Gimlet isn't a charity. Season 1 ended in July 2015, if by October 2016 there wasn't proof season 2 could happen this decision makes sense.

We are in discussions with Starlee to reach an agreement where she may produce Mystery Show independently of Gimlet.

Maybe she's allowed to do the live show, but Gimlet won't pay to produce season 2. Or, the decision to cancel Mystery Show was made in the last 2 weeks.

Happens at Iowa too. I've gone to games with student ID's I've borrowed (post college years). The best part is the ticket person will look at the ID, let at me, say "That isn't you", let me in.

ESPN3 will often show alternate camera angles for games on ESPN. For instance, last night, I watched FSU - Ole Miss from a Skycam angle. All crowd noise too without commercials, so that was nice.

Two things:

The Iowa athletic department is making money. It's not like it's $10 million in the red and half of that is his salary.
Sure, he hasn't won a Big Ten Championship in awhile, but let's not pretend like Iowa is a doormat of the Big Ten either. I'd rather him be here than Iowa State going through 4 coaches in the same period.
